Hello, I’m Andrea.

I am a Minneapolis-based photographer and fine artist.

I live in the Twin Cities with my husband Ryan and our cat, Lupe. My husband and I bonded over our love for the outdoors and travel. It is one of our goals to explore every national park in the country. When graced with the ocean, I love snorkeling. Take me anywhere near the mountains, and I will be out hiking. Wherever my travels take me, I will have a camera in hand and be capturing the beauty around me. I love making photo albums and decorating our home with prints from our travels. 

Like a true Minnesota girl, my happy place is at the cabin in northern Minnesota. Nothing beats enjoying water sports, soaking in the sunshine, and spending time with friends and family. 

My love of photography started as a kid. I was obsessed with any camera I could get my hands on—disposable, digital, polaroid—you name it! I took my first film class in college and instantly loved the dark room. After that, I bought my first Canon DSLR and started learning new techniques and refining my craft. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from NDSU in 2011. 

After graduating, I followed my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and launched my photography business in 2012. It has been a wild ride, but it has brought me so much freedom & happiness. I love capturing people in their element—real, raw, and full of genuine emotion. Along with wedding and portrait photography, I also shoot commercial and residential properties. After over a decade of experience, I am still eager to learn and continue to perfect my craft.

My Style

I strive to create fun and genuine photos—nothing too posed more go-with-the-flow moments. I love giving direction and I communicate well with the bride and groom before their wedding. My number one priority is quality. I don’t rush the process, I never outsource my editing, and I don’t believe in slapping on a filter. Every image you receive I individually selected, edited, and retouched.
